Q: How many people can travel on the Big Red Fire Engine at one time?
A: The Big Red Fire Engine is licensed to seat 12 adults.

Q: What if the weather is not so nice?
A: The Big Red Fire Engine has weather protection for passengers. Clear plastic covers can be raised to enjoy the good weather or lowered for those cooler days.

Q: Is there an age limit?
A: No. However we must have at least one adult traveling with a group of children.

Q: How much does it cost?
A:Our rate starts at $165.00 per hour within the Local area. That works out to only $13.75 per person for 12 people. Within the Liverpool area our rate is $185.00, Outside the Liverpool area our rate is $185.00-$300.00+ per hour depending on you distance from Liverpool City area

Q: What is the minimum hire time?
A: One hour. However half hour rides are available for $100. You can also split the hire time into several shorter trips; which is popular with children's parties and hen nights.

Q: I am booking for a child's birthday; does the birthday child get any special treatment?
A: Yes, the birthday boy or girl gets to wear a Fireman's jacket & keep their own Red Fireman's Helmet.

Q: Is the Big Red Fire Engine a real Fire Engine?
A: The Big Red Fire Engine is a 1967 Austin, which has been decommissioned by the Fire Service.

Q: Does the Big Red Fire Engine have flashing lights, bells and sirens?
A: Yes, but by law we are unable to travel with these going.

Q: How is the Big Red Fire Engine Licensed?
A: Big Red Fire Engine is licensed and regularly inspected by the RTA every 6 months

Q: Do I need to pay a deposit
A: Yes 25% deposit is required on booking.
